Parish of the Holy Savior

The angels told them to stop looking up, as if Heaven and Jesus were “out there” somewhere. They returned to Jerusalem where they prayed and waited for the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit, Heaven and Earth are joined together in us, as they were united in Jesus. With the Holy Spirit, we carry Heaven around in our Earthly bodies. That’s amazing! Heaven knows Earth. Now, like the Apostles, in imitation of Jesus, it is our task help Earth to know Heaven. Wherever we encounter a place on Earth where Heaven is unknown, it is our job to call Heaven down to meet it. It is our task to invite all men and women, every creature, to know the deep, dynamic, personal, love of God.
