A little bit about our choir:
The St. A & J. choir is an adult church choir with a mission to provide beautiful and prayerful music that adds delight to prayer, fosters participation in worship, and confers greater solemnity upon the sacred rites within the Mass.
Director and organist, for more than 30 years, Mark Belanger, conducts the choir in 4 parts - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass for musical selections which complement the liturgy and worship experience.
We are an amateur, all volunteer choir and typically sing during the seasons of Christmas, and Easter as well as when the children of our Parish make their Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.  We have also sung in conjunction with other choirs in the community for ecumenical concerts.
Choir pratice will begin prior to the Christmas and Easter seasons.  Notices for practice will be posted here and in the bulletin a few weeks before we start.
Outside of Christmas and Easter, you can join us at any Saturday or Sunday Mass in the choir loft to add your voice to our liturgical song.
The choir has a long history of liturgical celebration at St. A&J and we are always looking for new singers!!  If you are interested, regardless of the church you attend, and have a love of music and singing, please contact Mark Belanger at 207-364-8855 This email address is being protected from spambots.
