Parish of the Holy Savior

Instead of walking away, we have the option of walking with; walking with Jesus. To walk with Jesus means to discover Christ’s presence in our lives, God in the midst of each present moment: in the beautiful spring days, as well as in the lightning storms. To walk with Jesus means to converse with him, like the disciples on the road, to express to him what we are feeling and experiencing, to tell him our joys and sorrows, our hopes and our disappointments. To walk with Jesus means to listen to him, to let him break open for us the meaning of what we are experiencing, to open our minds and hearts to understand our experiences in the light of the scriptures, and especially in the light of his passion, death and resurrection.
