Parish of the Holy Savior

In the Gospel, Jesus says, “I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” As I sat next to that woman at the airport, I was struck by the fact that there’s a big difference between abundant life and a life of abundance. We can have a lot of stuff and still not have anything of what makes life worth living.
