So this question of who or what is greater is a question that permeates the readings. It is a question that needs to also permeate our lives. Whereas the blind man was given two gifts by Jesus, the gifts of physical and spiritual sight, we too have been given many gifts from God. At a bare minimum, we count the gift of life and existence, as well as, the gift of supernatural life, the life of grace, of faith and friendship with God. Of all of God’s gifts, which do we consider the greatest?
