The Eucharist in the Scriptures For more than 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has been celebrating the Eucharist as the source and summit of our Christian faith. Yet few believers really understand the depth of this profound belief! Join me as we take a look at the Eucharist through the eyes of sacred scripture, starting in Genesis and continuing on through the New Testament. We will be looking at the Eucharist in the significant stories of the scriptures to increase our understanding of and appreciation for the blessed reality of the actual presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
